"Drugs are Okay"... the User Will Often Say

Many users of drugs say that they are recreational users and it does not affect them. This is pure and utter hokum, as a matter of fact you only need to talk to a few of their closest friends to find out that they are not okay. Many drug users say that it does not affect their work and that they function better with moderate use, but even if this is true in the beginning, for how long?

If folks wish to do drugs, I do not wish to hire them, perhaps someone else will? If folks do drugs and try to break into my car and steal my stereo, then I should have the right to shoot them and defend myself. If a person wants to do drugs, screw off and be irresponsible, then well, I do not wish to pay for their health care when they have a heart attack at age 35. Nor do I want my insurance provider too or my government. It is a choice and if they will make that choice, then they ought to live (or die) with it. So those are my thoughts. What say you, do you disagree, why are you a drug user too?

When confronted with this issue of me not wishing to hire them; the drug user says; Fine, I would not want to work for your sorry ass anyway! Yet, this actually proves my point and such outbursts immediately show whose ass is sorry I suppose. If people do not wish to work for someone else in our society they do not have to, it is a choice; choice is good right? But if the drug user is in denial and they are saying that it is okay to do drugs and mess up their cognitive ability and cause others harm and crash our health care system, I cannot go for that. Consider this in 2006.
